About Us
John Latimore, like his parents the late Edward and Theresa Latimore, has made a home here in the Town of Evans with his wife Cindy; formerly Cindy Way, and their four children. Mr. Latimore graduated from Lake Shore Central Schools in Angola, NY, and later continued his higher education at Simmons College in Syracuse, NY. In 2003 he obtained his Associates Degree in Mortuary Science and currently holds a License to practice as a Funeral Director in the State of New York.
After June of 2008 John acquired the Schiavone Funeral Home, which is now known as the Latimore Schiavone Funeral Home, Inc. John enjoys being an active community member; he is a life member of the Evans Center Volunteer Fire Company, former Councilman of the Town of Evans, active member of the Evans-Bran Chamber of Commerce, Evans Lions Club, and an active parishioner of Most Previous Blood Roman Catholic Church of Angola. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for Claddagh Commission, INc. John is dedicated to serve the people of the Evans-Brant Community.
