I was so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I worked for Dave for years at WesBanco. He was a great boss and I learned so much from him.

I went to High School with David and lived 6 doors down from the family. I'll remember running X-C behind him our Freshman year and ahead of him by our Senior year. He was the staple leading half-miler on the track team. With his brother Roger, Tom Eddy, Guy Harley, Peter Cooper and the rest of the Hock clan we ran around the North Evans neighborhood playing "HOLD IT, FBI", hockey in the winter (Dave was the one with the goalie gear), baseball and football in the fall. In just the past couple years I can happily say I reconnected with him. We enjoyed friendly complaining to each other about our opposite sides of the political spectrum. He always talked glowingly about his kids and grandkids.
