Depew, NY - Edward Terry Lewis, 76, formerly of Binghamton, NY passed away at
home Friday, December 4, 2020 in the presence of his loving wife and Takoda, their
Golden Retriever.
He was born in Endicott on June 15, 1944. Terry, as he was known to most, or lovingly
"T-Bird", “Grandpa", or just "T"; was the first child of Edward and Beverly Lewis,
formerly of the Endicott/Vestal/Scranton area.

Surviving are his wife, Debora Lewis; children Dean E. Lewis of Charlottesville, VA, and
Kassandra (Chris) Mariano of Saranac Lake, NY; step-sons Nicholas (Taryn) Sabal of
Angola, NY, and James (Natalie) Sabal of Depew, NY; and, 7 grandchildren: Bryson,
Sydney, Nathan, Amanda (Maggie), Trey, Eva, and Colby; sister Lynn Rudzki and
several nieces and nephews--not to forget, Takoda.

Whether he was playing Hockey with the Saints, at a PT cruiser rally, travelling the
world, “livin’ and lovin’ plan B” full timing in their RV, he loved meeting new people, and
to discover local treasures and eateries. Terry loved ZZ-TOP, rock-n-roll (Played Bass
in local band “Charli”), and cooking.  He made the world smile through his generosity
and “playful teasing” of loved ones and strangers alike.

Terry was a Graduate of Vestal High School;  founding member of the Southern Tier
Saints Hockey Club;  Youth Hockey Coach (STHA and Vestal High School);  former
program manager at Singer-Link;  Retired President of Binghamton Simulator Company
(BSC);  and a member of the Kirkwood United Methodist Church where he loved
cooking for the Bounty Meal Program.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Ellis Levine and his team at Roswell Park, John
Latimore, the Lancaster Police Department, Depew Fire Department and EMS
Services.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations made in Terry's memory to Roswell Park at https://www.roswellpark.org/ .  A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours.
