Cheryl "Cher" Lynn Balmas, 66, passed away on March 22, 2023, after fighting a battle with cancer.

Born and raised in Derby, NY on August 19, 1956, by Father John Balmas and Mother Betty Lisiewski. A part of a large and loving family including her three sisters Christine Trembath (Paul), Teresa Rife (Jeff), and Suzanne Guy. She was a proud mother, devoted friend and faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Survived by her daughter Stephanie Cantrell (John) and her son Chase Heinrich (Sarah). She was also known as Aunt Cher by many nieces and nephews whom she cherished. She is preceded to her reward in Heaven by her beloved mother Betty and stepfather, Donald Kraft and many adored pets that are waiting beyond the rainbow bridge.

In her life she was a devout Christian who studied and practiced the Word of God. She was always found spending time and laughing with friends and family. Cher was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and would never miss watching a game (Go Bills!). Christmas was an important time of year; her spirit will be felt by all who celebrate. Her love touched all and she will be greatly missed. 

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday August 5, 2023 from 2-5 PM at the Latimore Schiavone Funeral Home, Inc., 8434 North Main Street, Angola NY.  All are welcome.
