April 20, 2025 of Macedon NY, formally of Derby NY passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Jim is the Beloved son of the late James A. Hoefner Sr., the late Emma Hoefner Taylor, and the stepson of the Late Donald Taylor. Dear brother of Sara (John) Newcomer, Sally ( the late Peter) Fite, Sandie (Todd) Tobin, and Susan Hoefner. Uncle of John Scott, Heather, Dawn, A.J. (Jamie), Brandy (Brian), Kelly, Jake, and Andrea. Great Uncle of Richard, Audrey, Lauren, Eli, Ciara, Brendan, Aiden, Maeve, Joan, and beloved family friend Al Tubero.  Family and friends may call April 23 from 1-3pm at the Latimore-Schiavone Funeral Home Inc. 8434 North Main Street, Angola NY 14006 where services will be held at 3pm. Burial Services to follow at Forest Avenue Cemetery, Angola NY where Jim will be laid to rest.
